What we collect around Chestermere Lake
Chestermere grew from a summer village into a city of more than 22,000 in a generation, and most of its households drive into Calgary daily. The scrap we collect reflects that: commuter SUVs and crossovers, a lot of Dodge Journeys and Nissan Rogues with transmission failures, and second cars that went a year without registration and were never brought back. Boats and lake toys create a side effect too, the old tow vehicle that hauled the boat until the frame rusted. From the hamlets east of the city, Langdon, Conrich, Indus and Delacour, we get farm trucks, grain-truck cabs and inherited vehicles from properties being sold. Being this close, we happily take single small cars here.
