Work trucks, bush rigs and what they are worth
Sundre is a town of about 2,700 people with a lot of oil and gas service work and forestry around it, so the vehicles we see here are heavier than in the city. A three-quarter-ton service truck with a blown motor, a crew cab that rolled on a lease road, a welding rig with a cracked frame; these carry real weight and parts value. That is why our Sundre offers are often higher than what a person expects for a scrap vehicle. We also take the ordinary cars, quads on a trailer are not our thing, but a family SUV that died on the way to Calgary is a routine load. Diesel engines, aluminum wheels and intact catalytic converters all push the price up.
We also get called for older motorhomes and camper vans around Sundre because of the campground traffic. Those are a different job; if you have one, phone and describe it and we will tell you straight whether we can take it and what it is worth.
