A few things about Nanton that shape how we do the job.
The route is simple: Deerfoot Trail out of Calgary, Highway 2 south past Okotoks and High River, and the highway itself runs straight through Nanton as a pair of one-way streets. That puts us right beside the antique shops and the grain elevators on the way in. Most Nanton homes are on wide lots with lane access, which is easy for a flatbed. Alberta lets you sell a vehicle without current registration if you can show you own it, so dig out the old registration certificate or whatever ownership paper you have. We write a bill of sale on the spot with the VIN and the price, and you keep a copy for your records. If the truck still has a plate on it, take it off before we load; plates in Alberta belong to the person, not the vehicle.
